Initiatives are
no better than the results which spring from their action. The world church
leadership has initiated a number of exciting programs which aim to make the
three strategic values come alive! And the church’s ministries, services and
institutions are generating exciting ideas which promise the practical
application of these goals.
With the
Strategic Issues and the expected outcomes before us…
Seventh-day
Adventists from the four corners of the world; from every culture, language
and people, are invited to participate in the church’s mission by defining
Adventism in many and varied ways. We are asking church organizations to
develop plans and set aside budgets to realize these objectives. The
Strategic Issues document is for the church—worldwide. It is stated in ways
that can be measured and allows room for each world region to address their
specific needs.
